Sunward Solar Hot Water System - Installation Guidelines
Step 1 - Solar Collector installation
Ground Mount Basic Steps:
- Roughly level an area 6' x 8'
- Install Solar Rack on concrete blocks
- Drive Earth Anchors into the ground to anchor frame
- Bolt Collectors to frame
- Fasten Photovoltaic Panel to top Collector
Tools Needed:
- Shovel
- Hammer
- Square
- Step Ladder
- Tape Measure
- 3' Level
- (2) 9/16" wrench/socket
Estimated Time: 2 hours with a helper.
Note: Installation of optional Timber Frame Kit will take longer — about 8 hours for 2 people.
